Hallig Hooge is one of the North Frisian Islands in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

1. Hallig Hooge seen from the sea


Like other Hallig islands, Hooge is mostly flat and low terrain, but there are man-made mounds called Warft that host houses and almost all other buildings since occasionally there might be storm tides that will flood the lower terrain.
