Hallig Hooge is one of the North Frisian Islands in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. 

1. Hallig Hooge seen from the sea

Like other Hallig islands, Hooge is mostly flat and low terrain, but there are man-made mounds called Warft that host houses and almost all other buildings since occasionally there might be storm tides that will flood the lower terrain.

Hooge has nine populated Warften:

2. Hanswarft

3. Backenswarft

4. Ockenswarft

5. Lorenzwarft/Middeltritt

6. Ockelützwarft (on right, Lorenzwarft/Middeltritt on the left)

7. Kirchwarft

8. Ipkenswarft & Volkertswarft

9. Westerwarft

10. The whole island as seen from the Wadden Sea during the low tide

11. Flat farmland

12. Cattle and young oystercatcher

13. Horses

14. Local transportion

15. Sheep
