Well, the competition does keep getting stronger.

Here are our finalists….

“The ‘Concorde’ Fontains, Paris” by Spiritx

“Sydney Storm” – by Eleshun

“Belfast” by DaveMac

“Postcard from Mostar” by Samir

“Cleaner” by Cleaner

“Power of Nature” by phOtOman

“Foggy Night” by Gianluca

You have two votes, one of three points for your top pic, and one optional point for any other shot from the list above you consider of merit.
Obviously you cannot vote for your own pic.

Please make it clear as to how you intend to vote by listing the title (from above list) with the points awarded, on the one line, and your second choice (if you wish) on a second line.

The administrators also have the right to make one or more Honourable Mention awards. This time there will be some of these awards.

Good luck to the finalists and thanks to all for entering.

The next subject is "Seen in Black and White".

Have you tried just using the URL http://deemer.50webs.com/photos/PICT0179bb.jpg directly?

No, sorry, I thought that the server where the picture is hosted was down, a
bad link or file missing.
Thanks.

However it works now.

Congratulations to all nominees (and the forum admins for chosing them).
It was very difficult to chose from the above pictures. But as I had to make a decision:

“The ‘Concorde’ Fontains, Paris” by Spiritx: 3 points
“Belfast” by DaveMac: 1 point

Hey,

I found out why my photo is displaying. It is something to do with the web hosting service I am using. I have now hosted the photo at

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-11/1107546/Belfast.jpg

If any of the admin guys want to change the link above to this one, I would be very grateful. Sorry for any bother I have caused. At least now I have found a web hosting service which allows direct linking :)
