I had a hard time choosing after my visit to the wildflower meadow on sunday the 25th. Here's a few more I liked:

Pink - Yellow - Green

Really multicolour

Red - Yellow - Green

Red - Yellow - Pink - Green, and a visitor

All A7ii + Travenar Auto 200/3.5 (M42)

Perhaps not quite multicoloured enough to became today's chosen one...

Viper's bugloss

I chose a flower details taken at 2.5 magnification as my today's entry, but here is the whole flower with more modest magnification (perhaps not even the maximum 1:1 offered by the lens:

Violet

α99 II + Sigma EX 150 mm 1:2.8 APO Macro DG HSM OS @ 150 mm, f/8, 1/250 s, ISO 5000

Despite the name, that flower has also other colours than violet (or blue)...

Couple other alternatives...

African daisy and a small fly

α99 II + Sigma EX 150 mm 1:2.8 APO Macro DG HSM OS @ 150 mm, f/9, 1/320 s, ISO 6400

That looks bit more purple than violet on my laptop screen.

A mite on a blue bell flower

α7R III + LAOWA 25 mm F2.8 Ultra Macro 2.5-5.0 @ 25 mm, f/5.6?, 1/250 s, ISO 1250

Yeah, that mite is red and the background is green, but today's colours were blue and violet, so no good.
