Broad-bodied chaser (Libellula depressa)

α99 II + Sigma EX 150 mm 1:2.8 APO Macro DG HSM OS @ 150 mm, f/9, 1/320 s, ISO 640

That would be more appropriate for a blue themed day or not?

Goldfinches (Carduelis carduelis)

Sony RX10 IV @ 220 mm (35 equiv. 600 mm), f/4, 1/1600 s, ISO 320

Goldfinches would been perfect multicoloured subject, but darn, I only managed to photograph them with "wrong" equipment. I had decided to go out with slightly light setup today: α99 II + Sigma 150 mm macro and RX10 IV. Or I should say I first got out with those, since the location where I saw these is just something like 100 metres from my home, thus I eventually decided to go back home, drink a glass of cold water, apply more sun lotion and fetch α7R IV + Sony 200-600G + 1.4× TC and head back. Obviously that time I did only briefly see the goldfinches and failed to take any photos of them.

Closest to my theme of last Monday.

Or the couch in the living room

And again.

I had the idea of a man in some industrial context, dressed in blue. But I haven't seen or found one.

Broad-bodied chaser (Libellula depressa)

α7R IV + Sony FE 5.6-6.3/200-600 G OSS + 1.4× TC @ 840, f/9, 1/1600 s, ISO 1000

I think yesterday's take on the same species (possibly even same invidual since these were taken at the same location both days) was better...
