Oerol 2012 on Terschelling Island


A300 tamron 17-50mm

En-route to Pangong Tso, which is actually a very large lake @14000ft 4200m in northern India

A57 Tamron 17-50mm (PTGui stich)

Tso Moriri, not as big as Pangong Tso, but somewhat higher @15000ft 4500m

A300 Sigma 85mm 1.4

Cheers for the comments. I've not been out with the camera in weeds due to work commitments and its been nice to go out and relax.

Not sure about the spray, the fourth picture was taken about five or ten minutes after the second and I did not have to clean the lens/filter. It was a foggy/misty day with the spray being pushed up into the air in front of me so maybe a little light reflecting or the fog/mist.

It's hard to choose between 2 and 4 for me. I like the sort of geometrical symmetry - they hardly look like piers at all.   Maybe #2 edges is (just) with that hint of colour.
