So that's what the Fairy Pools are meant to look like! Last time we were there it was a raging torrent running through there - shame as it was on a walk we were planning to do but the instructions were to use the stepping stones to cross the stream!

Thansk for sharing these two Domien - looks like you had almost typical Skye weather though?

Best regards, Neil.

I liked the second one a lot and it must have been a lot more impressive in person.

I long to visit Skye one day... The last time I was anywhere near there, they hadn't even finished building the bridge.

Thank you very much
I stayed there for over a week and only saw some of the great scenery.
Must get back there one day for more photography.

watching the sunset

Talisker Bay on Skye
I talked to the couple.
It was the 4th evening they visited the place.
So far rain and clouds had blocked the view.
This was the end of their holidays, they were happy to finish with a fine sunset.

Hope this is what they came for

A favourite current pasttime is to go over images from the past that have merit (imo) but didn't get the attention they deserve yet.

One more (panorama) taken in Smolniki is in Panorama section of themed views.
