A structure of branches in the "Loonse and Drunense Duinen"
![]() A7ii + Samyang FE 35/2.8 I asked a park warden what the function of these "structures" was. He told me it's just to keep children (and sometimes adults) occupied by hauling branches around, As long as they don't make any fire they're OK with it as a pasttime. |

It was a odd sort of day. The rough sea seemed to come from nowhere. there was hardly any wind and certainly no recent storm.

Here's a URL for a picture I have on Google photos: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ACtC-3d8w0UEpCRKBCHExfCvJXlHq7qDZj7GJ8iRGEXLW1JdsbcYIGdSAnTEpmBj6YfAioUWiPuTneORd77Q7SEhNe10MR3CbewmZSKpKfDtrELUSra20CsiVK1F2LrWGT8ZJi-opRbjEuOS0M_Nk_1xTsqceA=w1173-h783-no?authuser=0 I replace the "?authuser=0" with "-#.jpg" so the URL would look like: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/ACtC-3d8w0UEpCRKBCHExfCvJXlHq7qDZj7GJ8iRGEXLW1JdsbcYIGdSAnTEpmBj6YfAioUWiPuTneORd77Q7SEhNe10MR3CbewmZSKpKfDtrELUSra20CsiVK1F2LrWGT8ZJi-opRbjEuOS0M_Nk_1xTsqceA=w1173-h783-no-#.jpg Also, I might make it smaller to keep it 1024 for width or 980 for height, per Dyxum's size recommendations. Now the updated URL goes into the [IMG] tag. Also, make sure the pic is shared else it'll default to private and won't be visible to anyone other than you. HTH Sashi |

Surf at O'Neill Bay
#1 ![]() #2 ![]() a7riii with Sony 24-105mm FE at 57mm, 0.5 sec, ISO50. The prolonged drought in Auckland and closure of most tracks in the Waitakere Ranges has greatly hindered my usual efforts with streams and waterfalls. Hence I went to the coast, the West Coast of Auckland and Te Henga coastal walkway to be more precise, to scout out other subjects. And also to give my new camera and lens a try out.
