Hello addy; glad you asked. No those are true colors of Vermillion Cliff from the reverse side taken this November
I may have enhanced it slightly but that's all

I don't think humans can come close to replicating or surpassing Natures true colors out there (Arizona, Utah, Colorado) etc
Pls visit my todays post of the Colorado River in "Streams and Rivers" theme
You, who have been out there and recently posted of Antelope Caverns, may agree_____or may not

Yes, it is wonderful in your part of the world. It is nice over here, but not as impressive!

I wondered because it could be as life like as possible, and it is. Thnx for sharing!

I am not sure about the processing of this one:

Shay,
To me it is reminiscent of a black and white print on low contrast paper.
For my taste it's too bland, and I would certainly up the contrast, and perhaps even the exposure a little.

Howard's black and white image directly before yours is more to my liking in its rendering.

Thank you Joe.
Yes, you describe my feeling about this processing. I was just trying a preset.
I guess I will stay with the following color version:

Sony ILCE-7RM4 + Minolta AF 28mm F2 | f/9 | 1/1000 sec | ISO 200

Shay, in my humble opinion, even this colour version has bit bland colours, perhaps adjusting shadows darker could give this more punch...

ObSeascape: More humid and cooler environment
