Inspired by Joe's (Jozioau) photos of Atacama (Chile) I dived into my archives.
The deep blue skies and waters, the mountains and vulcanos on the horizon, the endless flatlands at 2500m altitude, and the variations in the scenery. Amazing place. It came all back when looking at Joe's photos.

so I dug up a few photos from the archive I took in 2017

Thanks Harald, the original file was very low contrast so it took a bit of PP to get something decent out of it. The ferry is easy to spot, but did you also spot the plane?

Another one from our week in France

Domien,
Interesting to see your Atacama high plains photos. Brilliant blues, and rich earthen colours.
I'll be gradually adding to mine in instalments in Open Views, and you'll see those same or similar places through my eyes and lenses - coming soon.
As you say, the clarity of the air is remarkable, which is why so many astronomical observatories are sited in that part of the world.
