Owenn01, thanks. The park is open year round.  This is my favorite time though.  The colors are amazing and the crowds are considerably reduced.  The weather is generally nice too, assuming you don't get an early storm.

rovhazman, Believe me it didn't come without some major soul searching. In addition, the leader of the workshop was sporting a shiny new 5D MK III and was not hesitant to extol it's virtues.  I was very pleased with the performance of the A99 though, and am happy with my decision
