love the contrast between the light on the bright yellow foreground and the rather more drab industrial background.

Thanks Braisim, I think it works well as a viewed from a distance, but close up the OoF distracts me some what.

If I was being picky I would say that it would have been better to get a few more of the flowers near to the camera in focus by increasing the depth of field somewhat.

Lovely shots Bobby. For me #3 works best. I like the light that is reflected by the water. Wonder how less foreground, more sky would work. TFS

Thanks for the comment. no 3 is probably my least favourite. lol.

No 2 is the one i like most. The green and the texture of the foreground does it for me.

Heres a tone mapped image looking towards Flamborough Head, East Yorkshire, UK.


Tried playing around to get the shafts of light to come out.

Here's a pine tree that I've been shooting for at least 10 times in the past three years and I'm never quite happy with the result. This is the best so far, I think. It was taken three days ago.
