These stone towers reminded me of the "Pyramids of Euseigne" in the Val d'Hérens in Switzerland, which I photographed in 1978 (this year 30 years ago

I guess the most impressive rocks I have come across were in the USA. I spent a month travelling round California and other western states in 2004. Forgive the camera (Konica Minolta A1), but it was my first digital camera and dates before the 7D was was produced. And it was light and easy to carry around. Anyway here are a few of the shots I took on our tour.
