This is pictures from the annual summer event of the tri-bike shop I work for. Each year my boss passes last years event in extravagance, and this summer we went for a day of air combat and dogfights at a local airport.
The plane we flew is the Italian SIAI Machetti SF-260 - a light military trainer certified for full aerobatics.

The event itself is as follows:
First we got a briefing on how the aircraft was flown and how to get the hell out if something went wrong

Next thing was to get the pilot suits and helmets on and get airborne.
We flew to planes at the time each with one instructor and one of us. The instructors took care of the take off and the landing and we flew the rest of the tour us self.

At 4000 ft. in the sector we were cleared to flew in, we started the dogfight itself.
Each plane fly towards the other in parallel headings with a distance of 400 metres. At the point where the two planes was passing each other, it was allowed to start chasing the other plane and try to shoot it down with the lasers.
After tree such dogfights we made some aerobatics eg. loops barrel rolls and Immelman manoeuvres.
An oh my it was tons of fun

Tobias and Eden looking at the inspection of the aircraft.

Tobias is checking the aircraft...or at least he pretends to do so

Malik before take-off

Niels (boss) is checking his mic.

Eden and me pretending we were born into these pilot suits

Nick and Eden with Top Gun attitudes

Me just before take off

Me looking as cool as ever

The whole and proud Nihola company after well done duty

I thought I would be balanced and put in a civil aircraft along with the C-17 I posted. This is a Pits S-1T flown by Jacquie Warda.

@andrew-broadfoot: I like number 2 with the reflection on the platform.

A-4 Skyhawk. It may look military but it isn't anymore (so i'm told).

Jan--Great looking example of a real workhorse--I'll have to take a shot of our local charity case--in such bad shape it will almost break your heart. What's the one in the background--guessing either a Ford or Junkers?
