Heads up to everybody, the Boeing 787 should be taking its first flight tomorrow. It is planned to take off from Paine Field in Everett at about 10:00 am. I hope to get some shots of this event. They are allowing us employees to bring cameras onto property for the event; something not normally allowed.
I don't know how many people live in the Puget Sound region and are going to be able to watch this, but I certainly think its going to be a great event.

Thanks for the 787 shots, pretty amazing you were there! What on earth are those chase planes?? Sure looks like some older model.

T-33 Shooting Stars. I think they came into service in the 50's they are jet trainers. In this role they were used as safety and photography planes. They have a large cockpit for a photog/observer in case they need to look at the outside of the plane while its flying to determine if any exterior malfunctions/abnormalities are of concern.

Thanks for that on the T-33's. They looked very similar to the T-37's I've got some time in (short of the wing tanks).
