Another vote for #3 - simple and clean composition and beautiful scene presented at its best.

And another one for #3!
The first two have too large perspective distortions for me, although the scenes look amazingly beautiful. TFS Alf ![]() |

MichelvA can you explain what you mean by having too large perspective distortions .Would be interesting to know about it something I should think about the next time I go to that lighthouse |

Hi Alf, the first time i looked at these images it looked like the lighthouse "fell to one side" a bit. Now i look again it is maybe also the shape of the lighthouse, although in #1 the left side looks more angled compared to the right side. If it is the shape that gave me wrong ideas i apologize, but you know best. I did see that the "poles" in the horizon look very straight, so that is perfectly done.

the lighthouse is conical and hexagonal it can be what makes you perceive the angle of the lighthouse differently .No you do not have to apologize but I asked the question out of sheer curiosity because it is interesting to know how others see the pictures. Because sometimes you can miss just such details that you mention. And you do not always think about it when you take the picture |

I'm actually a big fan of number 2. 3 has lovely light, but really like the composition of 2 with the boats, the leading lines of rocks in the foreground. Really nice. I'd be tempted to crop a little off the top and raise the exposure slightly to get the foreground a bit brighter, but a really lovely image, thanks for sharing
