The lighthouse of Cape Bonavista (Newfoundland), which has the lightkeepers house built around the light tower and is fully restored back to the condition of 1870 (inside and out). It can still work with the old petroleum lamps and concave mirrors, allthough the official function is taken over by the small lamp on the pylon that sticks up behind it.

The lighthouse and lightkeepers home of Cape Anguille, the most westerly point of Newfoundland.
The lightkeepers house is now a B&B where we stayed two days. It was really "the end of the world", the road stopped there and there were only foot trails along the coast to get any further. The total "complex"  The top light and a half moon  Both A7ii + Tamron FE 28-200 Di III RXD |

The lighthouse of Rose Blanche on the south coast of Newfoundland
 A7ii + Tamron 28-200 Di III RXD This is where the road along the southcoast of the island coming from the west stops, if you want to visit any communities further east along the coast the only option is to go by boat. |
