Long Exposures (1)

Here's some from today. All shot with the KM 28-75mm f2.8 D at 3.2-8 seconds with Hoya CP. I know you guys have some too - post it.

Well we have asked to be constructive in this forum or else so I like your results in 1 and 4 but 2&3 I find something missing in them to make them more complete

Actually #2 was my favorite of them all (simple) and #4 was the one I least liked - too much to take in at one time. #1 one came out of the camera "as is" with very light smart sharpen at 50% radius 1 (others at 65-70%) - next fav. #3 was calming to me (makes me want to drink a beer) - so I posted it. :P

All very nice, I like #2 but because I am very fscinate about the sea and I like to se the horizont.

Ok, I love long exposure, but how long is too long? I have been to several recent photo competition judgings and some of the judges don't like the look of 'a drum of milk let go up stream', you could have the same length exposure in several different locations and depending on the water flow get way different results. These pics we all at the same place, first with kit lens and last 4 with the Min 50/1.7... personally I like the 'mystical' look.
