Great pic Si, looking forward to seeing more from the evening! I know it's off topic, but hopefully a behind the scenes shot is allowed...

Last week I had chance to photograph auroras in location with minimal light pollution and somehow my attempts to capture northern lights tonight from the home window in urban Helsinki feels quite lame. Anyhow, here is still one example:

As I spent the weekend at my brother's place minding my nephew/godson I was bit hesitant to head out, but after the constant flow of aurora alerts I couldn't skip the chance, although I was slightly less familiar with the environment I struggled to find optimal location, but eventually set my tripod on the nearby park. When looking at the camera screen I was not seeing anything special, but when I finally downloaded the images into computer in Sunday I noticed...

α7R V + Sony FE 1.8/14 GM @ 14 mm, f/5, 10 s, ISO 800
