Like in a fuzzy dream Mike.
But kudu? It doesn't look like one and the environment doesn't look very African either. I guess everything is possible in a dream ![]() |

Thanks Peter. I shot that not long after buying the Soft Focus lens: looking at how I could (mis) use it. The Kudu is a sculpture and the image was shot in New Zealand (Napier region) so no, def not in a desert. However, I lived in Namibia for a year and have been close to Kudu in game parks. The sculpture is pretty close to realistic (it has the same twisted horns) and, judging by that, I suspect the property is owned by a Sth African immigrant. As an off the cuff lens test grab, I'm pretty happy with the look. I spotted the kudu out of the corner of my eye as we drove past and turned back for a better look. |
