I am a huge fan of minimalist images and I am a huge fan of a pattern interrupted. Thus, #3 is fabulous with the pontoon being a key element in elevating the image from extremely good to fabulous. And, "bad weather makes for good photographs" so the fog is yet another key element in creating the mood and feel of this great image.

Thank you, Roger - you are too kind!

This jetty was really old and decrepit - and it almost broke down when I stepped on it.

Harald,
What ethereal images in that light and that rising mist.
Beautiful to contemplate.
I like them all, but #1 the most.
TFS.

I have to agree with others: this is really great set of pics, Harald. And my favourite one is #4. TFS.

Hi Harald,

It's #3 for me if only for the rather surreal effect that pontoon has going into the mist - are you sure it was actually sitting in the water at all?

The rest do show how well one can produce atmosphere and impact even in the most inhospitable of days.

Thanks for sharing these and best regards, Neil.

Thank you all for your kind comments. There are a couple more Lake Constance images to come.
