Great photos guys! I'm just mentioning, but I didn't take any photos, I don't have the equipment. Living here in California I got to see the whole trifecta, the Blue Moon, the Blood Moon and Best "the complete eclipse".
I didn't perceive the red part that much, but the eclipse was pretty awesome👍

Wow! Didn't get that in England. But the clouds did clear for me to get a picture or two of the supermoon sans blood tonight:

A900 + 100-300mm APO + TC as before, 1/250@f11, ISO 400, handheld.
Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A7Rii, A58, Nex-6, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras ...

I don't get to see many stars from my city home, but from the dark skies above Exmoor a few weeks ago, here's Orion:

Sony A58 + 50mm f1.8 dt, 10 sec @ f1.8.

Might as well toss my morning photos into the ring ...

Near maximum eclipse (A77 + 500 Reflex):

About 40 minutes later, pre-moonset and pre-dawn (A77 + 100/2):

As far as I am aware this is not possible without using a composite of two different exposures if you want both foreground and the moon in sharp focus. You see a lot of these shots on the internet and most people don't state that they are composite images.

For what it's worth here are a couple of shots I took of the eclipse last night which don't differ much from what everyone else has posted (which are all great).

And three from Melbourne. Very disappointed that my 'go to' DxO software as yet has no module for the A7R3 so these are plain JPEG's. Taken with FE 100/400 and 1.4TC.

Full moon as it rose above the valley rim.

2. Half way

3. And a little blood.

Hopefully will get better results when I process the RAW in following weeks/months??
ILCE-1. FE 70-200mm F 2.8 GM MK2 FE 24-70mm GM MK2 1.4 TC and 2x TC. FE 300mm F2.8 GM.

Nice work everyone! It looks great with the red colouring.

Seeing as the moon was as close as it ever gets, I went for the Extreme Closeup with my telescope and QHY5Lii camera (it doesn't even have a Sony sensor, sorry...)

I used software to take the best 3000 frames out of 5000, stacked and 'drizzled' to upscale 3x (giving 9mpx), processed in PixInsight then downsamples to 6mpix. There are still some processing artefacts if you look closely:-) (click to flickr then the full size is available

Great images everyone. Unfortunately it was clouded over in Adelaide although this was visible during a thinning of the cloud.

C & C always welcome

As I don't have longer lenses ... I tried the 70-300 on the NEX6

Good fun! You can just make out the Orion Nebula - It must have been *very* dark there..
