Two non-sony takes on the Fish Head Nebula. One is a conventional RGB pic with some "ha" nebulosity thrown in, the other is a purely narrowband pic with just Ha, Siii and Oiii emmissions mashed together in famous recipe called the Hubble Palette.

Fishhead Nebula RGBHaOiii

Fishhead Nebula Hubble SHO

They are stacked from several hours of frames but sadly non-sony

Thanks Mike and Coast!

@ Mike: Looking forward to your moon shots again

@ Coast: I don't mind you saying that , and although my canon is not as big as Mike's, I felt the shot was decent enough to post it here.

Caught a clear moment on the 15% yesterday too, tried 1.4 +2x TC, but I am happier with the previous day.

A7R2 + 70-400G on LA-EA3 + 2xTC +1.4xTC (both Soligor DG Pro)

Your 25 and 47% look lovely Fred!!   I have also had a good run with three nights in a row. 26th, 27th and 28th!   Also set up right now hoping for another go. Socked in at moment - but supposed to clear. (call me an optimist.. lol)

Cheers

Moved to new territory, Fred?
I like your moon shots.
(And envy mikey2000's nebula shots)
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Thanks Mike! Always good to be an optimist, otherwise you'll just end up at the couch every night
Looking forward to your results. Clear skies!

Thanks Domien! Not in particular, but grabbed the camera earlier this week and continued that the following clear nights. Also experimenting a bit with TC's. I think there is an end to what you can do with shooting the moon, unless you get into more serious gear?
