On my vacation return trip I stayed in Luxembourg for a couple of days (photos of Luxembourg city yet to follow)
I visited Vianden Castle. There weren't many people around and the light was perfect.

#1 The Castle

#2 one of the many halls

#3 Another angle

#4 well repaired corridors

#5 A view through the ceiling of one of the halls

#6 and upstairs (pano of 6 shots)

#6 'old' sleeping room

#7 'old' living room

#8 'Old' storage room

#9 There was enough to store apparantly

#10 The 'old' kitchen

#11 Dine here

I particularly liked the 'old' rooms, with good light being a good start for (overdone?) PP.
TFL and comments are welcome

What a great place to capture that lovely light!
My wife was posted to Luxembourg for six months but I stayed home as I was tired of traveling. She loved those fairy tale castles!

Damn you phone spellcheck! I just looked at the thread this morning and my Chinese phone had made nonsense of my comment. Now edited doh!

Thanks, Mike.
It is a great place to visit on calm days.

Nice series Domien, indeed a great place to visit when quiet.

#5 is probably my favourite and #3 is a nice place where the ladies in waiting were waiting
You can see the April Foolishness 2021 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

#4 - love the repetition and pattern to this as well as the angle of view. Very nice.
