@ Gary

You might find an article by member wetapunga here helpful and there's also this link to photomacrography.net.

By going the bellows route, rather than just buying a dedicated lens, you have opened a Pandora's box.

Probably wouldn't have been the first one I've opened, either. Why does she have so many?

I will look at the links you've posted, but seriously, can you explain your comment on WHY I've opened another one of those accursed boxes?

I was just suggesting you were overcome by GAS* -- you say yourself "I think it was a very good price, so I bought it."

I like it, bigsi - great colour.   I love the way the stems are mainly OOF so it looks like the flower bits are sort of floating.

Oops I clicked "post" too soon. I was going to say that my only regret with this pic is the beetle's tail is partially obscured. But hey, That's Macro!

With a little fantasy this scene looks like made outer space - the pollen flying around and the beetle grabbing one. TFS

Ahhh yes, GAS. Quite familiar with it. I'm a musician and a firearms enthusiast. I know GAS all too well. It draineth my wallet, but makethy me happy anon, for the near while, yet, once again, my wallet brimmeth with gold and silver and GAS doth strike again and I am overcome with 'THE NEED!'
