@peg - there is an impressive amount of tension in #1

#3 is a good size for my 1080p laptop screen - no scroll bars

Today I cleaned the nest boxes in our garden

Many had nests in them, one also a dead chick (looking too gross to take a photo) and one lone egg (probably blue tit, the egg was ~1,5 cm long)

Yesterday it was raining. The land here is very salty (I think the right name for this is playa, but not sure), so whenever it rains the salt is dissolved in water, but the water evaporates quickly and leaves the salt all over.

Inspired by Fred's Natural winter art, I took first macro lens I found and took the pictures. It is not as beautiful as Fred's ice, though...
