very pretty, Harm! keep an eye on it, -if it's in your neighbourhood-, as it will turn into a remarkably pretty butterfly, called St. Jacobsvlinder, but actually a moth. worth a -hunt + a- shoot?
I only saw it once, broad daylight, in the dunes, so I can report that they are fast. ;)
and (forgive me, harbinger, pls?) all seriously poisonous -dutch- ; the ragwort plant, the caterpillar and the moth.
and the honey?

Thank you, Ine. I know, I googled this animal. I have seen plenty of them in our garden in France, so, when I don't forget and I see one, I'll shoot it.

Maybe this one is it? Not quite sure

For Flickr's Macro Mondays theme "Carbon":

Sony A7iv+Dörr 60mm f2.8 2:1 macro

Yeah, I know about the dirty spots .
Strange, the camera keeps it shutter closed when switched off and still lots of spots. Are they collected from the back side of the lenses?
