No one has started a macro thread so I’ll have ago, shot these 2 days ago they’re OK I think but nothing special so guys please join in

Good going guys, dilettante thanks but nothing out of the ordinary to intimidate anyone, this shot I was thinking of posting it in the critique forum but maybe I can post it both places, lens CZ cropped 50%

Some sharp macros shown here - good job everyone.

@aarif - 2.jpg has very good colors, sharpness and composition.

@dogears - whoa, doggy bouncing back from the flower pic with some well detailed critters. Nice colors on the 2nd one too.

Arif: "2.jpg" has a great bg, very interesting although not disturbing.

Tindrum: The flower is awsome, great use of dof!

Aarif -- your hibiscus is as near to perfect as a flower close-up can be.

Will try to compete after this coming weekend when I go out to our Monarch butterfly house which also has hibiscus flowers.

Meantime here is an effort from a while back.
