I'd been using my Maxxum 7 a lot this summer, and now it's a parts camera (overall build quality, and I've glued some broken parts back on it enough times to have given up on it.) My Maxxum 9 needs a viewfinder LCD. My repairman hasn't worked on either of these in many years, but thinks the screen in the 7 (which is fantastically bright on mine) will easily swap into my 9 (which has a near-dead LCD that can't be seen except in near-black darkness.) I have not been able to find anything conclusive online. Before I send in my 9 (my favorite camera, BTW), to be disassembled, I wanted to see if anyone knows for certain if the viewfinder screens are swapable.

Thank you!

I did a quick search and could only find User Manuals but the only way to know for sure would be to look at their Service Manuals and compare part numbers.
