The choice is "main" interest, not "only" interst, so I think it's safe to vote for equipment in your case

I choose photo forums, still read and post quite a bit in the equipment forums, but the real reason to be here and partcipate is to see other people's photo's as my inspiration to try and improve my picture taking skills.

Still surprised we've got so few responses from "down under", c'mon Assies and Kiwi's, we're here for you also so pls. cast your vote.
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

Voted for Oceania / Photo

Seemed like the best option for me. The bulk of my posts come from there but I do spend quite a bit of time trawling the Buy/Sell forum :)

Would be nice if members would edit their profiles so one can see were they come from and what their interests are....

Maybe wishful thinking, but.....

@BertH: +1 You have no idea how many times I've wished that.
In 2012 after months of tests I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. I'm 46 and suddenly life makes sense. I don't mean to offend with my comments so please tell me if I do so I can put it right.

I have voted for photo forums but use perhaps 20% of my logged in time on Dyxum for (a limited part of) the technical forums. And then I'm only interested in subjects which are directly related to subjects of picture quality and picture taking
My posts are probably for more than 95% in the photo forums

Indonesia, Techincal.

Well... 51/49.
Damn it is so hard! And seeing everyone opinion it seems most everyone here at least think before shoot, knowing what is in their hands.

The main reason I came to Dyxum was for equipment, I always thought the photo sections were a way to show how the equipment works. Both work hand in hand here.

Perhaps the poll would yield you more info if ppl could indicate percentages they spend in different sections? Not sure if that would be implementable, but it might give you more info? Not just photo, but percentages spent on: general, contests or learning; not just equipment, but percentage spent on lenses, bodies,buy/sell, darkroom; and of course: how often do you go to the databases.

Just voted Oceania, equipment forums, but in reality probably spend just about equal time trawling through photo forums, photo contests, and have a look at the buy/sell as well. A great all-round site and community.

I'm sure a lot of people interested in this site have an equal interest in photos and gear - I can't choose!
