Camera write speeds

I think it would be great idea to have table on this place that cross references all A- and E- mount camera's with columns for write speed, read speed, buffer clearing time and recommended minimum card rating (where applicable differentiated for CF, SD, Sonycard, ...)

That would require every card available , in every size available to be tested in every camera that has been made in A and E mount !

That's a heck of a lot of testing and a big table needed !
Are you going to volunteer ?
Better get started !

That is a misunderstanding. The table would have one row for each camerabody, or sometimes 2 rows when a body has 2 card slots.
The table would summarize the capabilities of the camera's (when not constrained by the memory card in use). And my hope is that the effort is mostly restricted to sorting out what is already posted here and there. Problably some testing is wanted for some cameramodels no posted data are available.
My suggestion is to tabulate knowledge we collectively already have. Filling in the gaps is another story.
