As the title suggests Miami was having an air and sea show, a two day festival during memorial weekened were a whole slew of military aircraft were flying as well as land based events like the stihl lumberjacks, the monster motocross demonstration team, powerboat racing and more. Here are some pics from the two day events. I definitely saw some things that I had never seen before at an airshow such as a b52 flyover (totally awesome) and a whole squadron of a10's (my favorite plane) flying in formation and doing maneuvers. There was also an f16 and a-c-130 at the airshow but due to poor lighting I wasn't able to capture any quality photos of these two beauties. Hope you like the pics. C&C not only welcomed but encouraged. Always looking to get better. In case you don't want to click on the exif most shots were done with the a6400 and sony 100-400 and a few were done with the rii and 24-105. Ill start with the land based events and some of the smaller aircraft first and leave the bigger stuff for the next installment!

#1 an empty Miami south beach right before the rain. A rare sight indeed.

Very nice series of all sorts of flying objects Chris!
From the motor set, #2 is my favourite with the cloud behind the flying driver.
Only wonder if they are heavy crops. On my screen I can see square pixel artifacts in the blue sky.
The jet ski is well timed and captured.
The plane propellors show exactly the right movement.
That v22 is a 'funny' plane.

Very interesting and varied set from the abstract artistry of the technicolour life-savers' station on the abandoned beach through the action shots of the flying motocross riders, the acrobatic jetskier and then the various aircraft.
All beautifully taken and presented. If I had to pick favourites they would be ##1, 2, 3, 7 and 8.
Thanks for posting.

Well Chris, I said 'my screen' but actually it was my tablet. On my PC screen, the pics are fine. Apologies for the confusion
