Beautiful images, Domien - and I find D21 really outstanding: the light and the processing is just stunning!

TFS!

The difference between clouds and clouds with a little sun is so very much. Those last pictures with the bridge and church and sunset.. Almost all equally beautiful.

As Domien said the first full day (sep 15) was a top day where we basically visited four locations:
- Failed sunrise but nice soft lights on the flanks of the Quiraing
- The fields and streams around Sligachan
- The cemetery on the road between Broadford and Elgol
- Sunset at the Elgol beach

In this post I'll do part one (the first two), the others will be up next (after more processing)

Quiraing:

p18: Three lakes and a road

p19: Three lakes

p20: Lush greens and blooming heather

Sligachan

p21: Small waterfall

p22: Experiment in B&W

p23: Waterfall and a house

p24: Just the house (with a bit of light on it)

p25: The old bridge from under the new bridge

18, 21, 25: A6000 + E10-18/4
19, 20, 23, 24: A7 + FE24-70/4 CZ
22: A7ii + FE70-300G

Pieter, lovely images, some not surprisingly being variations on those posted by Domien, others providing a new perspective.
Of this your latest, my favourites are #21, #23 and especially your B&W image #22.
Eager to see more.

Fabulous..... Scotland is always in my heart! (and a wee dram in my glass). Your pictures are amazing!
Quit a lot of ALPHA and NEX gear, a nice collection of Sigma lenses, Dynax and M42 stuff, Gitzo's, Visico's and lots of video-equipment

This is the reason Scotland is on my bucket list. A place like nothing in the U.S., beautifully presented here.

At your service sir
It's the Fairy Glen, near Balnaknock (close to Uig)

I better start processing though, I'm falling behind

Lovely to see a few familiar places from my own country. Not been up North in a while and makes me want to head back soon, especially Skye.

Did you get to the fairy pools or in to Loch Coruisk on the boat from Elgol?

We did get to the fairy pools and we saw the ferry from Elgol ( see pegelli’s shot p29)
But we didn’t get the ferry when we were heading for Elgol beach.

Thanks Domien , that`s not the Elgol boat.

It`s a small boat that takes you right in to Loch Coruisk below the Black Cuillins from Elgol. It may only be on in summer months, been a while.

Look forward to more shots!
