I've been using the Nikon a lot recently because it's my newest toy.
These white ibis have the prettiest blue eyes. Too bad only one leg Nikon (new) 8/500 |

I love how the background is rendered!

Repost of a shot with the 500mirror. For some reason the donut bokeh gives a sort of gritty feel to the back ground which I liked (almost like a sort of heat haze or makes the actual heat haze more pronounced). Also in the front this grittiness is visible on the curbs.

The bokeh can work for or against. It adds another element of challenge. |

I'll be patient Mike. It appears the lens is well worth a decent adapter. |

Today I received my Minolta RF Rokkor 250. It looks like new, it is surprisingly small. I understand its charm, there is always space in the camera bag for this one.

Thanks Mike! I have the 3M-7K too, but it's a lot softer than the Rubinar (which is not necessarily a bad thing but makes focusing harder). Here are a few from that 300/5.6: 1 Bicycle parking 2 Halloween twins 3 When the ship comes in all with a7rii + AOMZ 3M-7K 5.6/300 mirror lens (M42) |

And now I have a pair: Minolta RF Rokkor 250mm 1:5.6 and RF Rokkor 500mm 1:8. I have spotted lots of donuts in the garden, but have nothing to show for it. Later.
