Thanks guys!

Now for the proof she's been eating - you can just make out that her upper lip is a little swolen. After a full session it's very funny, her lips are all white and puffy, a wonderful reflection of the repast she's just taken. That is another photograph I would like to take. One thing I find difficult with baby pics though is at this age (5 weeks) her head is basically never upright so it's difficult to get natural light to fall in a flattering manner. That was one of the inspirations for this photo: just trying to get alternative lighting styles which are still esthetically pleasing. I exposed for her cheek in the shadow and tried to see what I could come up with.

Lovely. Wish I'd had a DSLR when my boy was a baby. One to treasure.

Thanks, gouldina. Though my wife is keen on us getting a camcorder as well (first steps, etc.) I'm pretty content with just trying to capture some pretty images.
