I was invited to the BMW CCA track day last week. Their photographer was a no show so I ended up filling in. I was able to shoot in some places inside the safety fence.
EK #1  #2 My host, Mark McGriff, one of the instructors for SCCA.  #4 Hmm, I thought this was a BMW track day?

Good compo's. The e46 M3 is a tad unsharp though. The blue e36 has another speed (looks like he is overtaking), so that's fine. Great capture of a rare e12 in #2. Had one of these myself a long time ago. The Mazda in #3 looks good, but as you mentioned, a bit out of place.

Just came back from the World Endurance Championship event at the Circuit of the Americas. The WEC is basically the same as the ALMS (LeMans) race with less restrictions. BTW Aston Martin and Audi won their categories.

Friday was not kind to the GT3 Cup folks at the Petit LeMans.
Launch!  Airborne (I think this one will get published)  Clean up at Turn 5, please  Clean up at Turn 5, please, again  And then there was the rain on Thursday. Two Porsche's at Turn 5  Poor visibility  Most were shot with an A900 and a Tokina AT-X 100-300 f4. Regards, EK |

Ooww the Nissan Deltawing out .. again
