Have found some old tests of film, this is old stuff but can be helpful anyway since some of them are still on the market.

Comparison of the films between the back n white and the colored lances. So basically we can know the difference between the camera in the b/w and the color films. Different films have different kind of quality of the picturesqueness.

I use the widely available in the US - Fujifilm Superia 200 & 400 and happy to see that they are highly regarded.
