I'm more worried about the sandbags - over here we see them most as flood defences.

I like the shot Harm, but I do find the reflection in the sky a bit distracting - personally I'd remove it.

Well, if the water comes that high I'm guessing a few sandbags won't be able to save us

Not a museum, this is the temporary art gallery at the Andrew Wiles Building in Oxford.

Howard_S, myself and eight other photographers are displaying there for the duration of Oxford Artweeks (weekdays until May 27). I took a couple of friends to see the exhibition and we settled down for coffee and chat when I noticed that three young women were examining my section. I'm not sure they were supposed to prod the work, but it's all behind Perspex so it matters not - I'm just pleased to realise that at least three people have been interested enough in what I am displaying to pause and look.

I also like the reflections and the utter indifference of the chap with the phone.

Interest!

Always good to see your work looked at/admired
And it is a funny shot, not showing the least of your photos
The guy with the phone is looking at the on-line version of the exhibition
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Disagree. The colours and contrast of the first picture are much better. Yes, the glare is gone, but also some of the magic the first picture. So, I prefer the previous picture.

Just IMO of course

Nice! How did you guys get included in this exhibition? And what pictures did you show?

Thanks for asking, Addy.

There is a group of photographers here in Oxford who go by the name Oxford Photographers (original!). We are quite welcoming and include people from the wider area, including neighbouring counties (hi Phil!). We are loosely based around the Oxford-UK Flickr group (https://www.flickr.com/groups/oxford-uk/).

Here's our exhibition poster

And there's more about us in our exhibition catalogue, which can be downloaded from https://www.artweeks.org/p/oxford-photographers.

We invite people to participate and the selection hurdle is quite low in that content has to be safe (in Flickr terms) and get through a committee at the venue, the Andrew Wiles Building.

The other hurdle is preparing photos to A0 format (841x1189 mm). I did mine a couple of years ago, just before lockdown, and this their first real-life airing. My four posters can be viewed here,
