That's nice...if you really care about sales on Amazon.
To see is to enjoy. To see beyond is to rejoice.

A77Mark II; A850; A700; A100; NEX 6; various film bodies and an ever-changing collection of lenses

Well, at least QuietOC has a source for his market assessment

Touche!
I was just going with what a friend of mine who sells cameras for a living has been lamenting for a couple of years now. In his store at least, entry level DSLR sales have fallen off dramatically. They don't even see those customers browsing. What they DO see a lot of are folks wanting to move up from cell phones, but still keep it small. Mirror less and good bridge cameras are gaining in popularity.

FWIW, the a55 was my first venture into the Sony / Alpha world and made me fall in love with photography. I picked it up 2nd hand with kit lens for $325 USD about 8 months after release. I used it until I left it in a cab last year and have replaced it with an A7iii. I still have all my glass for it though and use the 70-210 f4, 90mm 2.8 macro, 50mm 1.4 quite a bit with laea4.
I got some truly outstanding pics with the Sony A55.
Friends donít let friends shoot kit lenses
