Thanks Coast.

It arrived yesterday, in just under 3 days. The route was Shenzen to HK to Singapore to Sydney to Auckland to my doorstep.

First impressions are very good. I cleared my desk of the M1 Macbook Air which I was using in clamshell mode with monitor. Set it up. It has a small desk footprint and runs silently.

The SDXC UHS-II card reader at the front is very handy for photographers/videographers. So many useful ports at front and back.

Had time to install some of my programs (including C1) and did a quick session of a shoot I made on Tuesday. It's zippy and what was really noticeable is it exported the final images in the blink of an eye. It was so fast I wasn't sure it had actually done it and had to check to destination folder!

It should be much better on videos with the greater RAM, 3 times the GPU cores and a bunch of additional video decode and encode engines than MacBook Air. I'll have to see.

Addendum:
Comapred to my old computer and even the M1 MacBook Air, it handles intensive tasks so much more easily and faster. I ran a stack of 22 raw images today in Helicon Focus and it blitzed through it much faster than the other machines.
