Laowa just announced a 9 mm FF f5.6 rectilinear lens: See here

It comes in several mounts, including Sony E

So they're now taking over the bragging rights from Voigtländer for having the "widest", beating their 10/5.6 by 1 mm.

Maybe one day we'll see a rectiliniar FF 8 or 7 mm, who knows
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

That looks an extremely interesting lens, Pieter; might make me yearn for an E-Mount body after all... The thought of this in some of the UK cathedrals and churches is, perhaps, a little too much to bear!

Mind you, at this rate, we will shortly be able to take images of what's behind us with no discernable distortion as well.

Let's see how people get on with it but it does look a rather good lens.

Best regards, Neil.
