I noticed you can buy this camera on the US Amazon site, but not on the European sites.

Elite Brands is an American importer/distributer. They are the same company that owns the Rokinon brand. They aren't selling products in other regions.

So what does that mean; Samyang has sold off the Rokinon name?
I have 2 Rokinon lenses, I am very happy with. As far as I know Rokinon and Samyang lenses are Identical except for name
a6000, a6500, Zeiss 16-70, Sony 70-350G, Rokinon 12mm f.2, Rokinon 21mm f, 1.4, Rokkor MC 58mm f, 1.4 < Keep it Simple / Travel lite >

It just means that Elite brands imports Samyang lenses into the US with the Rokinon name on them.

I have a Samyang lens with the Vivitar name. It seems that all Samyang lenses these days are sold as Samyang lenses apart from in the US where they put the Rokinon name on them.

Lol, even Petapixel was confused by the release of these cameras "by Minolta", until straightened out by comments on their website.
