I've just bought a Bronica SQ-Ai medium format camera and lenses . I've already got Mamiya TLRs and full set of lenses , a Kiev 88 and full set of lenses and Bronica ETRs and ETRSi's and lenses from fisheye to 500mm .

So seeing as I don't need it ( just GAS !) I decided I would only get one body and three lenses .
Over the last two month's I've picked up the gear needed , unfortunately, partly down to picking up some great bundle deals from sellers that are either too thick or lazy to list things correctly, or just due to the fact I've been browsing eBay with too much whiskey in me .....

I now have a Bronica SQ , SQ-A and SQ-Ai , a 40mm lens 50mm , 80mm ,150mm , 200mm and a 110mm macro lens that goes to 1:1 rather than 1:4 .
Several metered prisms , other bits and pieces plus the TTL flash guns and macro ring flash that's compatible with both Bronica systems .

Today's my first day off work to try it out , so I'm off to the Daresbury Steam fair in Cheshire to try some out , I forgot to pick some HP-5 up for at the Wall of death , but I've got two backs loaded with Ilford FP-4 and a Fomapan 200 .

The project I've got in mind is touring Scotland in my camper van with them , though the two week holiday I'd planned might have to be postponed due to other commitments.

But at least it will give me time to check all the gear , sell one of the bodies on and spare metered prism etc .

Now I just have to resist buying that fisheye lens for it I've seen that would be good for taking shots of the Milky way amongst the Scottish mountains!

Developing my own colour film ( C41 ) is also a project for me soon .

I've just got a fresh kit of chemicals and need to develop the film I did in my Minolta XD7 I took for the SR mount film challenge in March (I can add them to the outtakes thread then !) , the roll of film from my Minolta Dynax 9 with the SSM upgrade , and a roll of film I shot in the Yorkshire dales on my May holiday with the Bronica ETRSi .
There's several other rolls of colour film I need to develop as well .

Should be easy enough , I've developed lots of black and white film , I just need to sort a water bath out to keep the temperature correct .
I'm sure I'll get better negatives back than I do from my usual place , they should be clean too with no crap stuck to them , my B&W ones always are that I do myself .

That's a really good idea.

As an aside this reminded me I got some panoramic gear just before Covid19 hit. I still haven't had a chance to use it properly yet. Perhaps this could be a suitable project.

That looks excellent Matt, may I ask what software you're using to combine images?

Two friends and I are delinquent on a project we were given, we went to India in year 2003 and have a variety of pictures from the three of us, one friend's wife suggested we get together and do modern processing/printing and make an album.

It was due last year, so actually not a "new" project LOL.
