@MinoltaMad, a belated welcome.
Somewhat like you, I stumbled upon Dyxum and learned to appreciate its more obvious attractions some time before actually signing up, and then it was a while afterwards that I decided to create a Flickr account so as to be able to post images here.
Look forward to seeing your posts, including images, and encourage you to participate in some of the challenges scattered through each year that get you out and about with camera and lens combinations you might not otherwise have shot with.
And perhaps some day after pandemic lockdowns are behind us, perhaps to even have the opportunity to meet up at some future DM?

Not really "new" here but it's been some time since I've been active. But, I'm back! We moved from Connecticut to Texas and I hated Texas so much I pretty much stopped photography. We are not in Orlando Florida and I didn't realize how much I missed my hobby.

So. I'm back. Picked up an a7iii to add to my arsenal. Still have my 5d and my a580 as well as my a6000. Likely going to sell my a mount stuff since it's too heavy these days for me.

Anyways, glad to be back here!

Hey All. I'm diving back in after being out of the hobby for over 10 years. I woke up one morning and decided to sell all of my gear and stop shooting. Not really sure why. My first A mount was a 5D my new entry is an A7 II. Things sure have changed. A full frame mirrorless body in my budget? WOW that was a dream 10 years ago (if there even was such a thing?). Looking forward to posting some images for critique. This place always made be try harder to become better. Winning some of the challenges was so awesome. Sorry for being long winded.
