An appropriate gloomy day to end the year so I went out on kind of a random search and that's what I found - randomness! Happy New Year to all.

1. Yield

2. Old Storage New Storage

3. Abandoned Petrol Station

4. Future Lumber?

Happy New Year! Looks like you had a good drive.
I like randomness!

1 Yeild is my kind of thing, especially the three differently-colored signs!, and 4 Future Lumber is nice. 3 Abandoned Petrol Station is a "Roger shot" (which means it's excellent!)

I'm wondering about 2 Old Storage New Storage ... I love the red and blue, but the green ... I'm not sure. I think if it were my photo I would lower the green. I'm also thinking of selective color with just the pallets in color and everything else mono. I can't decide if the fire extinguisher is a good tickle or an annoying tickle.

Spitballing here, I'm sure you thought of it already.

1. I agree as to the green. I had not even noticed its prominence/vibrance and it is a bit of a distraction presently. 2. Usually I am not a fan of selective color, just a personal thing. 3. The fire extinguisher would go if I was to use this image further, i.e. produce a print. Also, I would re-process so as to gain some detail in the large, what is now totally black, truck bay opening that is just behind the pallets. The other bay openings reveal some detail, just the right amount I think but why the largest one does not is beyond me - for some reason it must have been a lot darker in there. 1 looks quite special. My eyes were immediately drawn to the symmetric positions of the signs and the "fast" car really tops it off. I didn't mind the green grass, i like the freshness and in that way it emphasizes the feeling of the new year.
2. i agree that the fire extinguisher should go.
Great shots, happy 2022 Roger

MichelvA - That is precisely what I saw, the three different colors of signs in the shape of a triangle. The next thought - how to add some interest - a blurred vehicle. I needed to experiment with shutter speeds, and found what worked (varied somewhat based on the speed of the vehicle). As to the color of the vehicle, I shot a variety and felt that white, or at least a light color, worked best. Thanks for commenting.

Nice set, #1 is for me the best of the set, however #4 is strikingly even (not flat).
Well done!

Happy New Year, Roger!
