Parades take on all shapes and sizes, including kids decorating their bikes and riding through town.

The next photo will show an abandoned car or truck

I guess Addy's challenge takes precedence.

We don't really have a national day for the UK and 48% of us have been derided as citizens of nowhere by our PM. But there is always St George, the patron saint of England. His saint's day is next month but on Boxing Day the local morris dancers and mummers in my neighbourhood depict him in their annual performance:

St George

So the next challenge will be show us your country's patron saint.

I think there's a conflicting direction here? Is it abandoned vehicule or patron saint?

I'm sorry, I thought @Basil was responding to the one before @addy's and so I responded to @addy.

My bad: abandoned car or truck it is.

And let's see if we can get that picture of a patron saint next...

We don't really have a patron saint here in the US. The closest we have is George Washington, often called the Father of Our Country. Not quite sainthood, but it's what we've got.

The next photo will show a TRUE patron Saint.

I hope to be playing tennis this weekend ... this is either Feliciano Lopez (or Fernando Verdasco?) from the Indian Wells tournament in Palm Springs, CA from 2010-ish.

A700 | Tamron 70-200 or Sigma 70-300 ... too lazy to confirm metadata ... ;-)

The next photo will show more weekend activities now that Spring (or Fall) is here ...

Since the spring and autumn are prime times for bird migration, these are great times for birdwatching
