@winwalloe -- is that from The Last Bookstore here in LA? I was going to post a shot from there, but you beat me to it!

I love the smokers and pipes. Isn't it great that words can have multiple meanings?

Thanks! I thought your picture was of a pipe smoker (with the pipe hidden by the smoke) and that you were now asking for pipes. I obliged. Next person can chose their task, perhaps best of all a low-key photo of a pipe smoker ...

oops, my bad! I only posted that pic to illustrate what I meant, but now I see what impression I must have given.
truly SORRY!!!
unless we assume there was a pipe hidden somewhere ;-) but there wasn't. I like the idea of a low-key pipe smoker.
again, a huge SORRY!

No worries all round.
I'll happily look forward to seeing a low-key image of somebody smoking a pipe - probably a bit harder to find nowadays than in the past.

Autumn Leaf -- sycamore leaf at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles from 2012

Sony A55? | not sure which lens

The next photo -- how about a spring leaf? Maybe someone from the southern hemisphere can post one.

Yes, it's Springtime down South, but this photo was taken in May in Bordeaux.
