Last night there was a mild geomagnetic storm and it is almost the peak of Perseids meteor shower, so obviously I had to set up a camera to try to capture these. Pity there was more clouds one could wish for, but you can't always get everything. Later in the night I did also see quite a few heat lightnings, but sadly couldn't make a proper capture of those and 14 mm wide angle was perhaps the wrong lens to capture those distant lightnings. Anyway, this was the best I was able to capture:

and the milky way! + star trails? how long did it take you to capture, complete the circles, Harm? how many minutes, hundreds? |
