Hello Dyxum my old friend
I've come to talk with you again

If it is okay I'd like to return to the fold and my friends here after dropping out for a while. I fell into a bit of a photography hole this year, especially after the host of hosting issues I had when I tried to rise to the Photo150 challenge. In the end I seemed to lose all of my stored images and links. But I think I'm up and running again and I've gathered and restored most of my photos from HDD backups and all is looking good again.

I have also managed to reinstate my Flickr membership so now I can post pictures again. (I just ran through a trial load on an unposted forum page and it is working as I remembered). Over the years I have struggled with Dropbox and SmugMug to name but two hosts, but have to accept that the Flick bbcode process works best for me.

So, back in the saddle with my shiny new a7rivA and looking forward to taking and posting digital and 35mm film photos again, not to mention selected challenges and supporting Howard with some more stereo adventures

Welcome back, Brian!

Lovely to have you back and great to hear of the new arrival - and pleased you have managed to get the hosting issue sorted out. I wouldn't like to think of how long that would take me to resolve...

Take care and, hopefully, see you in 2022 for a meeting (fingers, toes and anything else crossed I can think of).

Take care and best regards, Neil.

That's great news Brian!
I'm a little envious of the new camera too.
I wonder if there is any point trying the Photo150 challenge anew next year, assuming it will be less chaotic than this year.
