Hi Everyone,

Spent a rather pleasant time at Nyman's House and gardens on Saturday afternoon. it's located quite close to Gatwick Airport but, once inside, you wouldn't really notice that co-location at all. it's a semi-ruined house with surrounding gardens and the day we chose to visit was the first day of their 'Beatrix Potter's Christmas' display for small children (and old adults as well! ). I hope you like the following 'review' of the place:

1. Late signs of Autumn

2. Aged Trunk

3. Once a Proud Building

4. "Christmas Preparations"

5. Lights and Baubles

6. Library

7. The Story of Simpkin the Cat

8. 'The Tailor of Gloucester'

9. Flowers in the Scullery

10. Hot and Cold

kr

11. Outside Lights

12. Two Trees

13. Wisteria Seed Pods

14. The Tailors Scissors

15. The Terrace View

All in all, a very pleasing afternoons stroll and surprisingly more to see than we originally expected! Thanks for looking and comments always welcomed.

Best regards, Neil.

No; lots of people - and especially children - there on the day but I just adopted my 'scary face' and they all seemed to melt away....

We will go back in the Spring as it is better known for bulb flowers etc.

Best regards, Neil.
