Jozioau 1 pt: 10 comment: really enjoy manually setting the Tilt/Shift to create interest through selective focus, and always take pleasure in the image quality the CZ 135mm captures wide open. gregja 3 pts: 1 gregja 1 pt: 23 comment: a fine set of inventive and abstractional images, very hard to pick favourites from. pegelli 3 pts: 26 pegelli 1 pt: 15 comment: Autumnal light, colours and subjects so well represented through this set. Phil Wood 3 pts: 31 Phil Wood 1 pt: 10 comment: enjoyed seeing interesting and varied glimpses of your part of the UK. Snegren 3 pts: 16 Snegren 1 pt: 5 comment: remarkable Laowa 180 degree fields of view somehow keeping out stray bits of the photographer's body, and beautiful renderings via the Domiron 2/50. minolta_mutley 3 pts: 22 minolta_mutley 1 pt: 3 comment: that selective focus on the tip of the hypodermic syringe with its drop of liquid is prefect creative use of the tilt/shift. The autumnal corn cob looks just ripe for picking. LAbernethy 3 pts: 17 LAbernethy 1 pt: 6 comment: as always, a very strong set. The mosquito coil with its glowing tip and interesting plume of smoke is perfectly set up, photographed and rendered, and the tightly cropped husky portrait is an immediate attention grabber. Dopol 3 pts: 14 Dopol 1 pt: 9 comment: the partial glimpse of the cyclist about to enjoy a well earned caffeine and sugar hit conveys its narrative in a very sparing and effective way, and the interesting modernist tower block rendered like an old postcard is very pleasing to the eye. onsplekkie 3 pts: 12 onsplekkie 1 pt: 6 comment: strong architectural forms, interesting sunburst lighting effect in day 12, and day 6 such a tranquil sunrise with the mists contrasting the sharpness of the ripples in the canal. Fred_S 3 pts: 20 Fred_S 1 pt: 4 comment: delicate cobwebs sharply backlit against the OOF backdrop, and a very aesthetically pleasing doorway with the colours perfectly matching the potted geraniums on the wall. AsD 3 pts: 4 AsD 1 pt: 2 comment: a couple of stunning seascapes, the first a beautiful composition with rich tones and the play of light reflecting off the water, rocks and wet sand, and the second a spectacular coastal scene, theatrically lit, and enhanced by that rainbow in the dark sky. alpha_in_exile 3 pts: 11 alpha_in_exile 1 pt: 30 comment: the quintessential Northern Hemisphere Oktoberfest image of the carved Halloween pumpkin, and a beautiful hand forged door pull on an old door that's very appealingly presented in monochrome. Jozioau 1 pt:12 comment: The zeiss 135 is magnificent - and you managed to get something out of the 24 t&s too. gregja 3 pts: 1 gregja 1 pt: 15 comment: A difficult choise - tons of abstract images with the gregja-signature on them. pegelli 3 pts: 15 pegelli 1 pt: 10 comment: Top Q. as usual - and you're trying to poke up the electricity-wars aren't you? (in Belgium there's a lot of arguing going on about new gas-centrals instead of our nucleair capacity - and Vilvoorde is one of those sites that may be used for a new 1GWh gas driven generator). Jozioau 1 pt: 25 comment: I've never used a T&S lens, but this architectural shot is just what I want one for. I'm less sure of the somewhat disquieting focus manipulation shots, but I like this one. gregja 3 pts: 18 gregja 1 pt: 19 comment: Loved so many of them but went for the most colourful pair in the end. pegelli 3 pts: 29 pegelli 1 pt: 3 comment: Luscious autumn colours and the DOF I never seem to get right. The wear on the door was well spotted and has great colours. Phil Wood 3 pts: 25 Phil Wood 1 pt: 1 comment: The Smokehouse shot was serendipity in the arrival of the couple entering, but the light just emerged with a couple of small tweaks in LR, I couldn't believe how well it came up. And I like my dog. Snegren 3 pts: 16 Snegren 1 pt: 22 comment: Plenty of great shots with the Meyer, but the composition of these two fisheye shots is stunning - giving the drama that fisheye is all about. The colour one wins for that extra dimension. Well done for keeping out of shot! minolta_mutley 3 pts: 23 minolta_mutley 1 pt: 4 comment: T&S is a mystery to me, never tried it, but what ever you did has done a great job with the verticals at the station. Nice sunset with the all important aeroplane. LAbernethy 3 pts: 17 LAbernethy 1 pt: 7 comment: I like the noir feel of the mosquito coil - and a point for including my name in a shot (which is also very nicely done). Dopol 3 pts: 2 Dopol 1 pt: 13 comment: Nice contrasty B&W treatment of a nice scene - 2 out of 2. And I love dogs (and beer) - impressive AF from the A1. onsplekkie 3 pts: 6 onsplekkie 1 pt: 15 comment: If that's what early morning looks like I really need to sample it sometime, glorious shot. And I like the idea of a ship that size reflected in a puddle. Fred_S 3 pts: 16 Fred_S 1 pt: 20 comment: I keep getting drawn back to the windswept trees, I'm not sure why, but I like it a lot. And a great cobweb. AsD 3 pts: 2 AsD 1 pt: 4 comment: Quite apart from the rainbow the light is superb and the scene idyllic. The beach scene would be good without added bonus of the dramatic sky. alpha_in_exile 3 pts: 11 alpha_in_exile 1 pt: 14 comment: Octoberfest needs pumpkin shots and I like this lonely looking chap. And your struggle with the lights worked out well. |

Snegren 3 pts: 22 Snegren 1 pt: 9 comment: While I normally can't easily choose a favourite amongst the swirly soft focus abstracts of your world, there's something compelling and different about the presentation of the 4mm Fisheye series, with the parking image unsurpassable Ian impressive sequence. minolta_mutley 3 pts: 22 minolta_mutley 1 pt: 4 comment: Wow the 24mm T/S is popular this year!
